A & R Specialty Construction has been a concept, an idea and afterthought among us for some time now. Through years of hands-on construction experience, we (as Contractors) have identified many problems in the construction/remodeling/renovating fields. From the most common and very basic problems to the more serious and complicated issues. We all have had good experiences and bad experiences with buying things. The same goes when hiring a Contractor to perform certain duties. Some Contractors are good and do excellent work, while others do not live up to their expectations. And sadly, most of the time, the homeowner is completely unaware of either situation due to their lack of experience in this area. New construction, just like anything new, looks good at first glance. But the durability and integrity of the work that was performed should always be questioned.

Contractors have several tools at their disposal to cut corners, from cheap materials to just flat-out very poor or incorrect installation, which are tools and techniques Contractors use to under bid their competition. And normally, it is not until several years later when the homeowner begins to experience the adverse results from such undesirable workmanship. It is at this time the blaming game begins, with no end in sight. The homeowner’s complaints are fruitless, leaving the homeowner with no choice but to hire another Contractor to fix a problem that never should have occurred.

We here at A & R Specialty Construction have witnessed these scenarios many times over, among other problems that arise when a homeowner is forced to hire several Contractors to perform certain duties. The quality, workmanship and integrity of the performed work is sometimes like comparing night to day depending on the Contractors that were hired. Unfortunately, some Contractors look at it as a job, paycheck or profit margin – while other Contractors surpass these factors and strive for excellence because their name and integrity stand behind the work they have performed.

About Us

A & R Specialty Construction was created by a group of Contractors (friends and family), who were motivated by the thought of unification to bring our new clients exceptional work services by experienced Contractors, all under one umbrella at a very competitive price. The Contractors in this Union have been hand selected based on their work ethics, experience, expertise, and more importantly, their overall integrity of who they are as individuals. There’s an old saying that goes, birds of the same feather flock together. This unification falls under those same pretenses. Working with experienced Contactors who take pride in what they do and the services they perform, while surpassing the thoughts of profit margins and money-to-be-made, is like having lunch with your best friend. It’s an enjoyable experience, as we are there to do our very best, leaving our landmarks throughout our community, while striving to build the strongest of ties within them. A&R Specialty Construction is comprised of a group people, long time friends and family, who are Specialty and General Contractors, that have united as a side project to bring you unprecedented customer service and support. Not only with our work ethics, but more importantly by creating a safe and friendly work environment, where people are working together, helping one another to achieve an overall goal: 100% customer satisfaction on all work details that are performed. This is accomplished in many ways, including all the checks and balances that are in place when several Contractors are united together. The end result is, and will always be, excellence in every work detail that is completed.

As part of this union, there will be a designated Project Manager for each job to oversee all operations. This designated Project Manager could be anyone of us depending on the scope of work and services to be performed. The Project Manager is not a title nobility that sets us apart from one another, as we are all working together as a team. But, having a singular person as a liaison for the homeowner/Property Manager to communicate with is essential. This will ensure that the project runs smoothly from start to finish, while providing the homeowner/Property Manager the comfort of knowing that any specifics outside of the scope of work, such as; suggestions, change of work details, different ideas or afterthoughts while work is being performed, etc., is only a quick inquiry to the Project Manager overseeing the operations. The Project Manager will do the leg work and gather all necessary information regarding the inquiry, so that several options can be provided to the homeowner/Property Manager for whatever situation arises.

Since we are a team of Contactors working together, the homeowner, property manager, or whoever is governing the project does not have to worry about the complications in trade stacking when multiple services are requested. As a team, we are fully aware what needs to be done, when it needs to be done, and where it needs to be done to ensure that the project is not only completed in an expedited fashion, but also in the most cost-efficient ways. This is just one of the many benefits that A & R Specialty Construction offers as a union of Contractors, which was one of the motivating factors behind our unification. We are here to help, giving you the very best of services at the lowest cost by experienced Contractors. Whether your requested services are singular or multiple, large or small, it does not matter.
